Voith automatic transmissions in VDL (former DAF Bus) driveline busses
Voith automatic transmissions can be installed without problem in all VDL (former DAF Bus) driveline busses, types SB and DB. Transmission and electronic controller are optimally adapted to the environmentally compatible, low-emission engines employed by VDL Bus. The transmission is adapted to the traffic situation at hand by selection of the most suitable axle. This selection in turn is based, for instance, on the operating data saved in the electronic controller of the DIWA transmission. This data also allows to select the optimum engine output.
