|
Voith automatic transmissions can be installed without problem in all Setra driveline busses, types NF and UL and also the articulated busses S 321 UL. Transmission and electronic controller are optimally adapted to the environmentally compatible, low-emission engines, type OM 457. The transmission is adapted to the traffic situation at hand by selection of the most suitable axle. This selection in turn is based, for instance, on the operating data saved in the electronic controller of the DIWA transmission. This data also facilitates the selection of the optimal motorization between 185 kW and 260 kW.
The four shifting programmes in the electronic controller, reaching from "economy" to "power oriented", allow further adaptation to the needs of the driveline operator. |
